Live view from the beach, facing where the sun goes down from this spot, with the sea drawn from today's wave height. The green flash is a split-second green rim the moment the sun disappears; it needs a clear horizon over open water.

Listings marked Checked by Sea Cast were reviewed in September 2026. Public boat ramps come from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission inventory; the rest come from OpenStreetMap contributors and can be incomplete. Distances are straight-line nautical miles, not a route. Charts: NOAA, for reference only, not for navigation. Imagery and base maps: Esri. Always call ahead. Is your marina or business missing? .

My boat
Describe your boat and how it runs. Sea Cast works out your real speed, fuel burn and range for today's load, and uses it on the marina list.
Maintenance
Boat, engines and trailer: parts, service intervals and records. Sea Cast reminds you when something is due by date or by hours or miles, whichever comes first.
Float plan & trip tracker
Leave a float plan, track your trip, and get your position and boat details to your contacts or the Coast Guard fast if something goes wrong.
- Shout "Man overboard!" and point. Keep pointing.
- Throw a life ring or cushion.
- Turn back. Come up slowly, into the wind or current, engine in neutral near them.
- Call Mayday on VHF 16 if you can't get them back fast.
Hold a steady speed for 30 seconds, then log the RPM. It teaches My Boat your real speeds.
Keep this page open with the screen on while boating. Points logged: 0.
Position log and float plan
Every trip now saves its full trail (🗺 Trail). Recorded with another app, like GPSLogger? Import its GPX file here.
After a trip, enter the gallons it took to fill up. Sea Cast compares that with what it predicted and corrects your fuel numbers in My Boat.

Captain's briefing
Read before we leave the dock.
- The captain's word is final. Speak up if you feel unsafe.
- Seated while moving. No riding on the front deck or legs over the bow.
- Gates closed and latched underway.
- Stay off the stern and away from the motor when it's running.
- Swim only with the engine off and the key out.
- The captain doesn't drink while running the boat.
- Yell "Man overboard!" and point. Keep pointing.
- Throw the cushion or ring.
- Captain: throttle back, turn back slowly.
- Engine off before the person is near the boat.
- Throttle to neutral, key off.
- Call 911, or Mayday on VHF 16: boat name and position.
- Life jackets on.
Bad weather or lightning: life jackets on, sit low in the middle, off metal rails.
Report a hazard
Marks your current position. Other SeaCast boaters nearby see it on the map and get a warning if they head toward it.
Who should know you're out?
Add at least one phone number. If you're overdue or don't answer "Still OK?", they get your trip details and position. You can add more than one.
Call the Coast Guard
VHF channel 16, or press the red Distress button on a DSC radio first. By phone: 911. Read this slowly:
